There are six heat settings on the LCD controller. Most people start in the middle and adjust from there.

Choose one of six timer settings and the blanket switches off when the time is up. If you don't set a timer, it switches itself off after 10 hours.

A self-regulating PTC heating wire and an NTC temperature sensor keep the heat steady, overheat protection steps in if it runs too hot, and the blanket switches itself off after 10 hours. As with any heated blanket, it isn't for infants, young children, pets, or anyone who can't feel heat or work the controller, and it shouldn't be folded or bunched while it's on. Yes. Unplugged, it's a regular flannel and sherpa blanket.

Yes. Unplug it and detach the controller, then machine wash the blanket on a gentle cycle. Let it dry completely before you reconnect the controller.
