Made for cold evenings.
Sherpa Heated Blanket
- Six heat settings
- Six timers, off after 10 hours
- Machine washable

The details
Two layers, one controller.
-
Flannel and sherpa
Smooth flannel on the side that faces you, thick sherpa on the other, and the heating wire between them.
-
Six settings, six timers
Pick a heat level on the LCD controller and a timer to match. If you don't set one, it switches itself off after 10 hours.
-
Steady warmth
A self-regulating PTC heating wire and an NTC temperature sensor keep the heat even, with overheat protection as a backstop.
Size and care
Big enough to share the sofa.
At 59 × 71 inches it's roomier than a standard 50 × 60 throw, so there's enough to go around. The 6.9 ft cord gives you some slack between the outlet and the sofa.
When it needs a wash, unplug it and detach the controller, then put the blanket in the machine on a gentle cycle. Let it dry completely before you plug it back in.

What does a heated blanket cost to run?
A few cents an evening. The math, with real electricity prices, and how it compares to a space heater and the thermostat.

How to wash a heated blanket
Yes, it goes in the machine. The order you do things in is what keeps the heating wire happy.
